assert(artboard == _artboard); and the solution?

My code somehow seems to be triggering    
`assert(artboard == _artboard); `
inside `bool advance(FlutterActorArtboard artboard, double elapsed)`

While there seems to be no such side-effects or malfunctions, may i ask cause of hitting this asserting and the fix of it?
