Note that since this project has multiple contributors, every past contributor needs to either agree to have their work relicensed, or the contributors work needs to be removed.

Makerom is licensed under MIT, Ctrtool would be too, but I've forgotten to add the license file.

Regarding getting permission from previous contributors, I think you overestimate the level of paperwork that hobby programmers are willing to fill out in the pursuit of doing fun unpaid work.
