Is your feature request related to a problem?
We've found some .spm images that have been defaulting to 1.0 pixel to nm scaling. This is an issue since they aren't at that resolution, and so results were affected.
Describe the solution you would like.
It would be preferable not to process these images, and crash instead of silently allowing the images to process with incorrect spatial metrics.
Describe the alternatives you have considered.
