[BUG] Delete command returning "Command line is too long" when selecting multiple files

Describe the bug
When executing the delete command with a long list of metadata files the commands gives a warn: "The command line is too long."

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select multiple files to delete
2. Click on mcdev: delete
3. See error

Expected behavior
The command should execute without any issues
