Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

Install AdGuard VPN browser extension (Chrome/Edge) on a clean Windows PC in Russia (no AdGuard VPN desktop app installed).

Open the extension and try to sign in / connect.

The extension cannot connect (no VPN tunnel is established), so I can’t even log in.

Workaround:

Installing AdGuard VPN for Windows works (VPN connects), but the browser extension still can’t be used as the main control panel.

Expected Behavior

Browser extension should be able to connect and establish a VPN connection (or at least allow login) in the same environment where the Windows app works.

Actual Behavior

Browser extension cannot connect at all in Russia (Edge/Chrome). It shows connection error and I can’t log in without already having VPN working.

AdGuard VPN Windows app works fine on the same network.
