XRay only showing blocks with at least one exposed face

Describe the bug
Enabling xray seems to only show blocks with at least one exposed face as shown in the screenshots below. It seems to randomly occur where sometimes the whole cluster is highlighted, and sometimes only the exposed blocks are shown.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install advanced-xray-fabric-1.20.1-1.6.0-build.17.jar
2. Enable highlighting of an ore (in the screenshots it's Nether Quartz Ore)
3. Enable XRay mode

Expected behavior
Entire ore cluster should be highlighted

it still happens in SMPs. previously i could see all the blocks added to my list even with the server's anti xray plugins, now i can't see ores if they're not exposed to air. not sure what anti xray the server uses

additional: i understand your team don't support the use of xray on servers. just observing that previously this mod worked on my SMP, now it does not
