Can't reset from level 1

I think the latest patches broke this mod again.
Just started a brand new game, new install, I only have this, Toybox and the Unity mod manager installed, all latest.

• Respec from recruit level : Respec while starting from level 2 (can't change anything meaningful)
• Respec as a mercenary : Let's you change a lot of meaningful stuff to the npc, but... does not reset the level 1 class.
• Neither option care for bonus stat points, whether you choose to respec the npc with all 10's, or original stats, you have 0 stat points no matter how many you set.

I don't mind sharing my save if that helps or anything else.

I can't confirm we can't respec companions from level 1 anymore, probably because he removed the downscaling levels?

I figured it out. Even though the 'Respec from Recruit Level' option disappears when you choose the 'Respec as mercenary' option, the option is still toggled when you go to respec. So disable that setting first before deciding whether or not to respec as a mercenary.
