I wonder if there was anyway to implement custom color support? 8 or 16 would be fine, maybe in term48rc?

What do you mean by "custom colors" ?

Today we can only set colors using RVB values;

text_color = [255, 255, 255];
/* The color for text, in RGB format. If you would like
 * classic green text on black background, you can change
 * this to [0, 255, 0]. */

background_color = [0, 0, 0];
/* The background color, in RGB format. */

Tomorrow you'd like that colors may be written like "purple blue", "apple green", etc ?

Do you have a map already of the colors you would suggest to implement ?
