Macs have moved from intel to apple's own M series chips years ago so i wonder if it would be possible to implement hardware acceleration for the macs that use M series chips

i wonder if this is possible since ipads have started using these chips too

That's already somewhat work in progress. Visual does HVF, and I'll try KVM on a RPI5 16GiB when I get one.

It's highly required a SoC with 16k page support (in case of KVM ofc)?

No shit, Sherlock. Times have changed, ten years ago you had to look which SoC supports it, while now you have to look which doesn't.

this is as far as I've gotten it, but for some reason it gets stuck there due to pointer authentication failing in some code and then again while trying to panic. no idea why, it's all being done by the hypervisor.

I wonder if apple removed some old functions or old things and changed things and maybe thats why its not working

pointer authentication is a standard ARM thing for the most part, that is why I'm stuck trying to fix it, there's no reason why a signed pointer generated by the hypervisor should not be working
