orderby='custom_[fielddef alias]' with Select DateTime incorrect

I have a custom field definition with type Select DateTime, the alias of which is 'date'. When trying:

{EasyListFundraisingEvents orderby='custom_date|DESC'}

This seems to be ordering just by the day of the month, not the full date. For example, the 22nd of October comes before 17th of December (when it should come after with DESC)

it is not a bug, it is a feature request.
Because all fields (include date) are considered as string. It was like this witj ListIt...

Yo guys in the module is a reference still to listit2.

modules/EasyList/fielddefs/listit2eh.FileUpload.php
This must be modules/EasyList/fielddefs/easylisteh.FileUpload.php

I will try and work as much as I can with the Easylist to see if there are any other problems occuring! Thanks anyway for making this possible!
