@CodeFoodPixels I'm not able to create branches, but here's what I think may address the first issue. PR #116 didn't fix the issue.

Define the return type as VacuumActivity instead of str.
def activity(self) -> VacuumActivity | None:

I think in case there is no tuya_state, return none instead of STATE_UNAVAILBLE.
return None

Based on the work of https://github.com/maximoei/robovac for L60.

Later deprecations (2026.8) are still in. But there's some time left ;-)
