Running CAAL using Echo Show 5 (1st Gen)

I wanted to share that I have been running CAAL on a rooted amazon echo show 5.
So far it has been working great, everything works (mic, touch screen and speaker), and it is perfect to have it sitting on my desk.

Once rooted, you can install LineageOS and then use the APK to get CAAL installed on the echo show.
I have also done something similar with my Echo Show 8, which has a bigger screen, and it has been perfect to use as a Home Assistant dashboard.

@nerd8east-a11y, this is awesome! I just checked on Ebay and you can get these pretty cheap! I'd love to see a picture or short video of it running CAAL. Thanks for sharing this.

There are two rigs side by side. Here is a picture of both of them:

- 32 GB DDR 4 RAM
- GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER

I used to mine crypto back in the ETH days, so I have a lot of hardware laying around.
