Timeout/cancel button on course generate?

There needs to be a time limit on how long the "generate course" feature can run or better...a cancel course generate button. Field 15 on Hubbard 16x will literally just sit there and generate a course forever, preventing doing anything else (including saving). The only option is task manager kill the game. I have autosave off on this map because it takes 20+ seconds per save, so not being able to save is an enormous issue.
