I no longer have a rooted phone. I've found that root + Xposed kills the performance and battery life of phones. Particularly the LG G4 and Galaxy S7. If you ever have a chance, compare a rooted phone vs an unrooted one. The only time it won't be detrimental is if you have an unlocked bootloader. Not sure why this isn't talked about more.

Uhm, I personnally have a better battery with root, it's not a problem for me honestly, but If you want a better battery, first thing you should do is not buying a phone with a non-stock android on it :)

I should have worded that better. Yeah that's usually the case with root, but to get root on the GS7 you have to install a leaked dev version of the kernel and it's a battery guzzler. I'm not sure why people don't talk more about how detrimental XPosed is to battery and performance.

Yeah... I looked around but couldn't find a Verizon compatible phone comparable to the GS7 or LG5. Anything that comes close always has a deal breaker. Also I was rushed in my search since my LG G4 bootlooped and I was without any phone.
