What problem does this feature solve or what does it enhance?

Is there a way to detect femtocells and ignore them?

I'm getting a lot of triggers that appear to be caused by older femtocells that still use 2G, this is especially prevalent when driving in the countryside where cell signals are weaker or the devices have been installed and forgotten.

Proposed Solution

Investigate if it's possible to reliably detect femtocells and have a switchable option to filter them out.

What version of rayhunter are you using? We had a bug in the 2g heuristic that has been fixed as of 0.10

Thanks, I was on 0.9 until I upgraded this morning, will see if I still pick up the femtocells but have to pass a suitable area.
