Oscilloscope App High CPU Usage on Mac M1

Mac M1 from 2021, OS Ventura 13.2.1

When opening the Emotibit Oscilloscope App I see a cpu percentage usage of 150%.
Even when the Emotibit device is not connected and not streaming, the app has that amount of cpu usage.

Temperature also rises to 90º on an M1 Mac.
Tested on an Intel Mac and same result, high CPU and high temperature.

Has this been looked at yet?
I have at least three different Macs, including Intel and M1 experiencing the same issue with high CPU usage and high temperatures.
