droid exec cannot use custom droids

Reproduction: add a custom droid to <repo>/.factory/droids/
Use droid interactive and ask to use the the custom droid -> works
Use `droid exec "use the custom droid" -> does not work, answers that he has no access to the custom droid.

then I get the message below.
