Settings reset after droid update

I had configured a number of things in `~/.factory/settings.json` (byok, disabling cloud sync, etc). After the update to version 0.53, I noticed that settings.json had been overwritten, and all my settings were removed.

I only noticed it when I started droid after an update and it started responding with a different model than I'm used to. I did not get any notification about this.
