I was not able to connect thru VNC, tried for 2 hours, tried running it on synology docker. You should really include NOVNC in the container.

Can you be more specific? What commands did you use to run your container? How did you attempt to connect to the VNC server? Were you running OpenVPN inside the container?

I used Synology container UI to make it run. No manual commends were entered.

vncviewer ip:5901. And i got connection refused response.

I don't know. I did not do anything with VPN.

I have other containers running, like qbittorrent or jdownloader, and i connect to them via http/novnc, have no issues there. They have novnc included by default.

Maybe my use case is different than how this image was meant to be used. I don't use vpn, and connect via http. Maybe In should start using VPN.

I have seen in the past some cases where running openvpn inside the container can affect the ability to connect to the container... that's the only reason why I asked the question.

But if you can't connect to the container, it sounds to me like docker didn't publish port 5901.
Do you have the ability to run commands such as

ss -tunlp | grep 5901
<or>
netstat -nvtlp | grep 5901

That will tell you if the port is available to accept connections.
If you do see it listed, try this:

vncviewer :1
<or>
vncviewer ::5901

I am not opposed to the idea of baking in novnc, but I personally have been using it in specific cases on an as-needed basis. See Usage here:
