NTH: display speed at cursor, option to default to curves

Good Job!

1. Instead of having to click a point and right-click on the line/curve to select speed, have the cursor display the computed speed as you drag the current point. Would help tremendously in setting the next point.
2. Have an option to draw curves by default instead of lines and have the software calculate the transition at nodes between curves.
