Recurring Payment Profile improvements #57

What do you folks think about adding the option to link a Recurring Payment Profile to a Campaign, and have all Opps created by that RPP use that as their Primary Campaign Source?
That seems like a great idea. Another option would be to just create new opps with the same campaign as the most recent previous opp connected to that RPP.
Another idea I have is that when a Recurring Opp is marked Closed Lost, that updates the RPP's End Date and doesn't create the next installment. Thoughts?
I don't think you can assume that. If these are automatic, they might just be suspended because the credit card needs renewal. If they are manual, the person might just have a bad month and pick up later.
It also seems like there's a bug with RPPs creating Recurring Opps beyond the RPP End Date. It correctly marks future Recurring opps as Closed Lost, but still creates another Recurring Opp. Has anyone else dealt with this?
That sounds like a bug to me. Like the one above, I think it is important to map out all the likely use cases where one gets marked Closed Lost and then propose how it should work.
