Noticed that the plugin is specifically requiring Java 8, any news on updating this to support Java 16 & 1.17.x

Anything made for a prior version of java will work on future versions of java. Java 8 is simply the minimum required version.

How often does this occur? On every command? What is CMI doing? Can you post the full stacktrace?

That appears to be a watchdog thread dump, completely unrelated to the error above. What I need is: the full text of the OpGuard error when it occurs.
