Check-in Services are a great way to verify user safety and give relevant information on whereabouts of individuals in time of crisis.
Create a service where a user can supply their name and a message which can be stored into a database. This could allow responders to assess and verify the well-being of users.
This feature should not be used as a replacement for official emergency services and should specify a message indicating as such.
