Gif Format Stickers Won't Save Properly

Is there a proper way to save the animated stickers? I'm attempting to save this sticker as a .gif and it just throws an "unsupported file format" when I try to reupload in private servers. It will also not work in the default photos app on Windows 10 or VLC. It will be animated when I open it via browser though so I'm quite confused.

The plugin downloads those as .apng, not as .gif. I may add a feature to convert from APNG to GIF.
