Question: cpu.totalUsage units

Sorry if this is not the place to ask this question but I was wondering what's the unit that dockbeat returns inside cpu.totalUsage. Is it a percentage of the CPU usage?

If that's the case, how is this calculated? It doesn't look like the data returned corresponds to the data I get when running docker stats [container]
