When enabled:

  • getOnlinePlayers returns an empty table if the option is set.
  • the playerJoin, playerChangedDimension and playerLeave events don't trigger unless it happens in close proximity to the peripheral
  • other things which i may be not aware of that allow the peripheral to detect things happening at arbitrary distances away despite the Peripherals.Player_Detector.playerDetMaxRange config option not being set to -1, should also be disabled.

Describe alternatives you've considered if any

Disabling the peripheral entirely. Obviously not an option.
