Using Sitecore.XConnect.Contact instead of Sitecore.Analytics.Tracking.Contact

Hello,
Is it possible to use this in Sitecore 9? In sitecore 9 there's whole new contact object sitting in Sitecore.XConnect but GetModel method of the EPExpressViewModel is using the one in Analytics.Tracking namespace. would this work in sitecore 9?

As it currently stands it wouldn't for the exact reason you point out here. However conceptually it should be identical if the code was simply updated to use the new contact logic.

Thank you Jeff, I modified the code slightly and it worked perfectly. Maybe if you create another repo for Sitecore 9 version and I share the changes with you we can keep this valuable library updated.

Ah, my mistake, forgot to do that, should be a version 2.0.0 out there now. Thanks for the reminder.
