Initialize method fails when two items (of the template Tab) have the same Placeholder Name

Hi folks,

Not sure how it happened, but a site ended with two different Tab items with the same Placeholder Name were created at the /sitecore/client/Applications/ExperienceProfile/Contact/PageSettings/Tabs folder.

This fact caused the Process method of Initialize class failed and blocked the entire site. The following image is a screenshot of the error I got when I try to load the home page of the site.

I created this issue to track the problem and I will create a branch and a pull request with the solution.

Well the cause of the issue was that the initialization processor was added twice in our case, after we removed the duplicated configuration file, we didn't see that problem anymore. If you are seeing the same issue, you may also have the same duplicated configuration entry somewhere.

Of course, we think that the entire application should not fail because of that configuration issue. We will probably create the pull request in the coming weeks.

That was exactly what happened, there's the default initialisation in EpExpressTab.config and we added our own. I couldn't find it at first, because I was only looking in my solution files, looking again in the website folder I found the duplicate configuration.

Adding additional information about the steps to replicate the bug:

• Duplicate a tab item with the same name inside the Tabs folder. (For some reason when a tab item in the tab folder gets duplicated in our site).
• Restart the application pool.
• Site cannot initialize because of the error described in my first comment.

I created a pull request to fix that. Please, let me know if you have any comments for that.
