Configuring USync into it's own section

Umbraco is being a pain. I'm trying to limit the user on our site backend. We'd like to block Settings completely for them, but then they don't get uSync. So I'm trying to do two things, run a js (pain) for the settings section (dirty way and insecure really) to hide everything but uSync, or give the user permission for uSync being it's own section.
