Need to Understand : The property for block was removed because

I've noticed a bunch of these errors popping out of our productions sites.

I wonder what could be causing them.
Is this a cause for a concern?

We're using:

Umbraco 12.3.6
USync 12.2.3

It's probably not a major concert, but that message is effectively telling you that there is a property on a block element, that is in the uSync file, but is not in the document type for that element on your server.

likely is the property has been removed from the doctype at somepoint but the content files have not been updated (e.g saved) since that property was removed.

when uSync encounters this, it carries on but puts this warning in the logs just to say "its not quite the same".

you don't loose any data as the properties that do exist are still set.

Just some follow up question:

1. Would exporting the uSync for doctypes and then deploying them to server help align these?
2. How about the models builder, should those be re-generated too and re-aligned?

Hi,

Yes, you should check to see if the doctypes are in sync, but it might be you need to re-export the content items, to make sure they too, don't have extra properties in them.

depending on your models builder setup, if it's auto then the models should re-build when the sync happens. - but if using another setup you might want to regenerated them after you sync the doctypes.
