about the use of node-video-hash

I am looking through the source to find the cause of these issues. I did determine the first issue and that's to do with file lengths. When you enter a file path, something is happening and it is being treated as a full file name, which may be too long, thus an error gets thrown.
The other problem is that by default, this is taking a screenshot every 30 seconds. That is overkill and causes this to be very slow for longer videos.

Since it looks like the author has abandoned this, I'm probably going to make a new package with some less sloppy code. If I publish it to npm and/or GitHub, I'll update this comment in case the OP or anyone who finds this is interested.
