I need to run a lightning node? #67

Hello,
from the main page https://www.zaphq.io and https://docs.zaphq.io/docs-desktop-getting-started#step-7-sync-to-the-blockchain i am not sure if i need to run Lightning node if i want to use this Lightning network and also how much disk space roughly the blockhcain sync that is mentioned under the docs link can use. Maybe consider updating that tutorial so it is more apparent or on main page regarding disk space requirements and such.
My aim is to send BTC faster with lower fees.
Btw. can non-lightning users send BTC to my lightning wallet?
