Koha 19.05 behaviour with this plugin

I tried to install and test KohaRecommenderEngine in Koha 19.05.02 (Ubuntu 16.04). The installation went on smoothly but configuration is giving following message:

Can't locate object method "updateJS" via package "Koha::Plugin::Com::Liliputech::RecommenderEngine" at /var/lib/koha/library3/plugins/Koha/Plugin/Com/Liliputech/RecommenderEngine.pm line 110.

And naturally nothing is getting loaded in opacuserjs or in intranetuserjs.

Is it version incompatibility? Is there any easy way out?

Update.JS should not even exist in the latest version of the plugin...
I now use "opac_js" hook to provide the JS Code.
It may be that I forgot to pack the latests sources.
you may do this by putting the whole content of the folder Koha in a zip file and change the extension to kpz. I still got errors afterward though.
I'm working on porting the plugin to latest Koha version.
