Framing not working

Perhaps it is my machine or user error, but I cannot get this file to frame. I'm using the Creality Falcon 2 with laser GRBL and when I go to frame it seems to move the machine to the origin, and the progress bar at the bottom of laser GRBL looks like it is processing, but the laser head does not move. It appears to lock up and I cannot exit the framing mode running indefinitely. Is there something extra that needs to be done? I see in brackets you have (frame here). Do I need to edit that? Thank you

First of all: are you able to use your machine with LaserGRBL?
I use mine pretty much exclusively with LaserGRBL and it works for me. What can be different?

I'm not familiar with "Creativity Falcon2", it is possible there is some special initialization code and you need to edit "var header" in my code to init your hardware properly, I did kept it as separate variable in case of different hardware. Same for the footer. Check other G-codes that you are able to burn successfully, see if any special init header there.

Same for the "var footer". It maybe machine specific.

In my generator first command is G90, that is set work to Absolute coordinates. Absolute for work piece and not for the machine. For that you need to set work origin: globe with location mark button. Navigate/move laser to bottom left corner of your work piece and press globe. That will set absolute coordinate 0:0 for work piece. From there I suggest to use "frame" button to see X and Y range as a frame. If frame overlayed as you prefer - you should be able to burn it without any issues.

So, most likely, you need to edit variables "header" and "footer" in my code.

You may post some of g-code that you burn successfully, I can look if anything special in there.
