The `merc-ltsgraph` and `merc-pbes` release binaries are excessively large on Ubuntu

The line table debug information for the GUI and pbes tools is way larger on Ubuntu than the other platforms. Although disk space is relatively cheap this should be resolved somehow, ideally without sacrificing proper backtraces on release builds since that is useful for reporting issues.
