Explorer.exe freezes occasionally

I'm on Windows 11 23H2 and use these commands (or analog) for each of my 7 virtual desktops (invoked by PowerToys keyboard shortcuts).

VirtualDesktop11.exe -GetDesktop:0
VirtualDesktop11.exe -GetDesktop:0 -MoveActiveWindow
VirtualDesktop11.exe -GetDesktop:0 -MoveActiveWindow -Switch

I can't reliably reproduce it, but it seems to happen with all three commands. The windows GUI freezes and all I can do then is to switch users (Ctrl-Alt-Del is the only short cut that still works) and restart Windows Explorer from the Task Manager for my original (frozen) account.

Is there any way to debug this?

I have the same experience while using Stream Deck. Issue occurs for both .bat and .vbs wrappers.
System: Windows 11 23H2

I found out the reason for this: simultaneous calls of the animated switch function causes Windows Explorer to crash!

I fixed this in the new release V1.21 I uploaded today.

I also encountered this issue before.
I've just updated the app to the latest version and the issue seems to be resolved. There are no freezes anymore when I simultaneously execute two commands for switching desktops.

I can't reproduce the problem.
Are you still using Win11 23H2? Microsoft support will expire soon, so perhaps updating to 25H2 / 24H2 will help? This might help with the Virtualdesktop issue too.
