- Design validation
- Manually design 2 kitchen layouts with varied complexity (tiled map editor)
- Create 2 new recipe dependency graphs (networkx)
- Human play test: verify task difficulty
- Outcome: 2 layouts playable
- Rollback trigger: If layouts feel trivial or unsolvable, revisit generation constraints
- Implement layout generation algorithms for kitchen configurations (counters, appliances, delivery zones)
- Create goal path dependency graph generator with complexity scaling (e.g. 2-4 ingredient chains)
- Develop novel game mechanic injection (environmental hazards, tool failures, time constraints)
Expected outcome: Generate a few unique layouts
