DROP Alt Not able to load firmware because of ERROR: PARSER: File is empty

I am unable to load my compiled firmware onto my drop ALT keyboard. Any help is appreciated. After it fails to load the firmware my
keyboard essentially "bricks" and has to be unplugged in order to use again. I attached a screenshot of the console error

I'm not even able to download firmware just loading indefinitely. Tried waiting hours. restarting it not luck. Or download any other of the files needed nothing happens.
