Bug: expand collapse places animation in the wrong place

Problem

When I make a recording and then place the playback mechanism closer to the animation, then hit the expand/collapse button, the animation collapses, but expands in a different spot.

Expectations.

The animation should expand exactly where it was when I hit the collapse button.

Steps to reproduce

• create new animation
• grab the playback controls that are generated at origin and put them near the animation
• pin the controls to the animation
• hit the expand collapse button (notice the animation collapses)
• hit the expand button again (notice the animation expands in an entirely different position)
