About global_orient SMPLX need B*3*3, why yours 1*3? (The same to other parameters)

Hi @caizhongang @Wei-Chen-hub when I want to use the SMPLX npz file to get SMPLX mesh(.ply), I found that SMPLX global_orient shape is (B,3,3) but the results of SMPLer-X is (1,3), not just global_orient , other parameters are same to it. So I can't get the SMPLX mesh(.ply)

at the issue#67 render.py - Why should we transfer the .npz to .json ? also get the same parameter shapes.

All of these data seem to be missing one dimension."
Then I don't know how to use this SMPLX npz file to get mesh(.ply),
Can u give me some advice about get the SMPLX meshes(.ply)?

Hi

For the 3x3 and 1x3 global orient，they are two different representation, which is rotation matrix and axis angle. We use the axis angle in SMPLX.

As for issue#67, Meta info (camera info etc.) for SMPLerX inference results are stored seperately, that code points to the name of meta file.

For ply, you can get the SMPLX mesh, and then transfer it to ply.
