Bug Description

The /mv gamerule command has not been updated, it's still using the legacy formatting.
Side note, please add clickable pagination buttons.
Additionally, please restore the /mvm command shortcut to /mv modify.

• I have searched for and ensured there isn't already an open or resolved issue(s) regarding this.
• I was able to reproduce my issue on a freshly setup and up-to-date server with the latest version of Multiverse plugins with no other plugins and with no kinds of other server or client mods.

To be frank, there is so many commands, may I ask what does /mv gamemode <world>, is it just as alias to doing /mv modify <worldname> set gamemode <gamemode>? Also what legacy formatting are you referring to?

You can enable legacy-alias in config.yml to have /mvm, tho tab complete mostly solves the typing speed issue already.

Clickable button is a seperate feature request, please open a different issue for it.

Sorry, I meant /mv gamerule
The latest Multiverse build claims to be fully reworked and updated, that means all commands, including /mv gamerule, should be updated.
Legacy formatting details can be found in the paste.
/mv gamerule <world> --page 1-8 reads that worlds gamerules.

/mv gamerule list --page 1-8 , i.e /mv gamerule list --page 1 would be the correct syntax, as of Multiverse Core 5.3.1 4004554, legacy formatting is still being used, and it would be easier to navigate if there were clickable buttons, which can be easily done by updating your formatting, it is not separate.

Adding clickable buttons requires changes in how we parse text as a whole, probably with papermc Adventure api or similar. It’s not as simple as “updating format” as you stated.

If you request is just adding clickable button for the paging, I will accept this as a feature request. However, I will also categorise this as a quality of life thing, so do not expect this to be added in the short term. Hope you understand

The latest MiniMessage format within Adventure has clickable buttons that do not require you to parse any text dude, it's a button that just runs the next page, i.e clicking it executes /mv gamerule list --page 2

Yes it has, but that is adding a new dependency - not a “format update”. I know it’s possible and I will look into it. But it will be impossible for me to give you an eta. I’m open to prs if you are willing to work on it :)
