Usage of quickconnect for the wrapper?

Hi guys,

I was investigate a bit about the quickconnect connection to a NAS and I'm wondering if it's a feature that could be add to the wrapper? You just have to enter the quickconnect_id of your NAS instead of IP and PORT. The quickconnect will always use https.

I need to check few thing but I can login to my personnal NAS using quickconnect through insomnia requests.

Have in mind that if you have a registered DDNS, using QC will just redirect you to access via DDNS. IDK how you tested, but I know QC is pretty complex, and depending what network you are in you may end in one server or another.

There is some request to do on synology url to retreive what is the relay server. Getting as responses infos about the availability. I can share you my insomnia request list if you want to test it. As I tested only for my NAS the server relay didn't changed.

@joeperpetua here is a python script that works for me just for login to the NAS then logout. You have to change 3 variables at the top of the script :) Keep me in touch, I need to investigate a bit more about the errors possibles

Sorry for the delay, pretty busy at work for the last weeks.

I tried it out and it is working well. I have DDNS enabled, so the QC just routes to it, but no issues encounterred.
I would have liked to try more settings like DSM port not open in NAT rules, or DDNS disabled, but my ISP router can be controlled only with an app, and it just crashes when I change any setting, so yeah, not very helpful.

If I get some more tests done, I will let you know :)

I need to investigate a bit more about settings in the requests! I also need to test existing request for example create user to validate we got all permissions

I have seen that if you use it on the same network it connect using other hostname I need to check a bit too

At the moment it's not integrated in the wrapper and I didn't have time to investigate further how to integrate it
