[enhancement] Stop writing `npm scripts` to the plugin's `package.json`

Tell us about the problem

At the moment this plugin uses npm scripts to expose its functionality. This why it useful makes it a pain to constantly having to disregard those changes to the package.json while commuting to your source control repo. A better way would be to have a single or non script that would be added on postinstall and expose the same functionality via a runnable package.
