How to use without using a separate Router?

Hi, what if I have an express app object with various routes that I want to call this fetch function on, but don't have a Router?

Also, is there a way to obtain arrayBuffers, etc. instead of just JSON?

This is an old project (it has 7 years), so you probably shouldn't be using it today. NextJS and many more libraries solve the whole ssr problem without the hassles.

In case you wish to understand how this lib works, you can directly check out the code. The resolveInitialData function is quite straight forward. As a short summary the idea behind this lib is to add a static prop called getInitialData to the component, the server just calls this static property. React Router's matchRoute is used to resolve what components should be rendered.

Theoretically you could use any object, JSONs are used because they can easily be serialized.

If you give a more in depth explanation about what you are trying to get, perhaps I could throw you some hints.

I have created a new npm package! It solves the problem of creating a fetch compatible function to call routes on the same express server. Inspired by express-data-ssr.
