Incompatible with newest Fabric Loader

Using Minecraft 1.21.1, Fabric Loader 1.18.1, MultiMC 0.7.0-4248

Mods used:
Fabric Api 0.116.7
Forge Config API Port v21.1.6
Distant Horizons 2.3.6
Mapwright Fabric 1.0.2

I am given an error for the included Veil

Some of your mods are incompatible with the game or each other!
A potential solution has been determined, this may resolve your problem:
Replace mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader) 0.18.1 with any version between 0.17.3 (inclusive) and 0.18- (exclusive).
More details:
Mod 'Veil' (veil) 2.4.0 requires any 0.17.x version of mod 'Fabric Loader' (fabricloader), but only the wrong version is<br>present: 0.18.1!

Downgrading the Fabric Loader to 1.17.3 makes things work, but that's obviously not ideal.

I hope you can get around to fixing it soon, I adore this mod very much!

This is a problem with Veil (necessary for a lot of the fun rendering tricks) which we have no control over :/
As far as I can see there is literally nothing in 0.18 that could or does break it..

A little hacky but for the moment you could open the mod jar as an archive (rename extension to .zip, use 7zip, etc), open fabric.mod.json, change "fabricloader": "0.17.x", at line 60 to "fabricloader": "0.18.x",, and apply the changes
