Apple Silicon Error (pims_nd2)

Hello, I am opening this issue because of an error that appears when using the library on apple silicon.

Apparently it is related to pims_nd2. When it tries to load the object that was compiled for x86, it crashes:

Do you have any idea on how to fix the problem? Would changes to pims_nd2 be required?
