OpenCollar Remote Target issue/lost when logging in.

What version of OpenCollar are you using?
8.2.1

What behavior did you expect?
Remote retains target UUID properly when logging out and back in (relog or login hours later, etc).

What behavior did you see instead?
OpenCollar Remote targets unknown UUID:

Which search shows up as (???).(???), as does the chat of it showing who's connected.

The picture, however, is correct on the HUD.

What steps does someone need to take to reproduce the problem?
Connect to a collar. Relog. Click on target indicator on HUD, and it will be connected to (???).(???).

because of the fact that objects when rezed change UUIID this cannot be helped at the moment, there is no way to remember a key that will change uppon login, might be sovled by creating a shared key bwetween the collar and the object that only the addon and collar would know after pairing.

This would mean a refactoring to re-establish a previously established connection on relogging, based on the wearer's id. However I think it's worth considering returning to the old hud interface channel method rather than having the remote connect as an add-on. This will mean that connecting isn't necessary, the hud simply needs to know who the target is, so this kind of issue will no longer exist.

Here here! This is the kind of thinking I like! Ever since this new weird method of OpenCollar Remote came to be, I've always thought it over engineered, when it doesn't need to be.
