Is this discussion forum dead? When I look at the list of posts, about 19 out of 20 posts are unanswered - since 2023!
I'm interested in post #360 , for example.
Reading #337 I see at least three people working on the Places theme.

However, we're a small team balancing many priorities, and we address questions as our limited capacity allows. Limited capacity? Looking at the Overture Maps membership conditions, 80(!) engineers should be working on the project, since the four steering committee members each contribute 20 FTE engineering headcounts to the project.

For a project that wants to be open and has such a large budget, I would expect a little more priority to be given to community support.

If you're keen on helping improve response times or supporting other community members, we'd love your contribution to the discussions.

I am already a community member at OpenStreetMap, which takes up quite a bit of my volunteer time.

But even then, questions like #360 still need to be answered directly by Overture Maps staff. This also applies to many other issues, especially since the source code of Overture Maps is neither published nor licensed as open source.

Hi @danabauer : Why did you close this discussion? I closed another one #399. Looking at the many other open discussions, especially #445, and the lack of engagement from working group members, I still have the impression that this forum is almost inactive. I suspect that there may be activity in the closed forums, but that is not how an open project works.
