Hello developers!
I am a loyal user of PDF24. With the mindset of embracing open source and pursuing lightweight, I found this software after recommendation and stuck with it for a long while. It's not easy, due to PDF24's related servers and official websites are in foreign countries, I struggled a lot in mainland China to carry the ultra-low Internet speed and ultra-high latency to get the official latest version of the software. After using it for "a long long road", I have the following questions that I want to be answered:
1.When I open the software for the first time, a Login interface poped up and I skipped it.However, I cannot find it any more.Where can I input my personal information and make PDF24 know?
2.When I open the file with PDF24 Reader / PDF Toolbox, its icon is quite different.Can it be united?
3.When I open the file with other components of PDF24 except PDF24 Reader, I cannot find an option that opening the file in a read mode. Why?
4.In the installing wizard,why the Webview Runtime 2 is needed when choosing the components(the total software is just as large as more than 300M without this 500-MB-large components)?What if I refuse to install it?I've always felt that Webview Runtime 2 is a controversial component that comes with the latest Windows given the burden it places on memory, hard drives and processors.
I really like PDF24, especially the unique sheep theme on this software because of the special meaning of sheep in Christianity.Hoping for the surprise from next version!!!
