Scaling on HDPI displays

I've been trying to find a way to use Pathvisio on Linux, with a high DPI display, and the icons and menus are tiny, and the "clickboxes" are not where they should be (to use a button I need to click much lower than it actually is). Is there a way to fix these scaling issues?
